On the one hand, there is confusion, haste and the risk of chasing something that, in the end, isn\u2019t quite as we imagined it. On the other hand, the day itself offers clarity, stability, opportunities and the chance to turn a good idea into something more tangible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And this is where it gets interesting: <strong>The day is neither \u201cgood\u201d nor \u201cbad\u201d.<\/strong> It may present an excellent opportunity for those who can distinguish the real from the imaginary, but it may also lead those who are carried away by the excitement of the moment to make the wrong choices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Individual phases do not last for just a few hours around their exact peak. Their influence is usually felt <strong>a few days before and a few days after<\/strong>, depending on the planets\u2019 speeds and the extent to which they influence our personal horoscope.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Mars in Cancer: I act because something concerns me personally<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mars is located in the <strong>Cancer<\/strong> and by 17 August it had reached approximately <strong>4th degree of the sign<\/strong>. Mars describes the way in which we act, assert ourselves, get angry, compete and pursue what we want. In Cancer, however, our actions are driven by intense emotional motivation. We do not do something simply because we \u00abhave to\u00bb. We act because we want to protect a person, a relationship, our family, our security or something we consider to be ours. This can generate tremendous determination when we have a genuine reason to fight. However, it can also lead to impulsive reactions when we feel threatened, rejected or misunderstood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Neptune in Aries: The dream is waiting to become reality<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Neptune is in the first few degrees of <strong>Aries<\/strong>. Neptune is associated with dreams, imagination, inspiration, intuition and faith, but when it is expressed in a challenging way, it can be linked to confusion, idealisation, false expectations and a difficulty in distinguishing between what we want to believe and what is actually happening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For Aries, there is a need to turn vision into action. We want to pursue something that inspires us, even if we don\u2019t know exactly where it will lead us. And on 17 August, this very point clashes with Mars\u2019s need to take immediate action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">17 August \u2014 Mars square Neptune at 3\u00b059\u2032 Cancer\u2013Aries<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Concept: Don\u2019t rush into things before you\u2019re sure you know where you\u2019re going.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The square creates tension between action and our perception of reality. We may want something very much, and precisely because we want it, we may ignore information that does not fit with the narrative we have already created in our minds. In personal relationships, we may idealise someone, misinterpret their intentions or become emotionally invested without yet having enough information. In our professional lives, we may get carried away by a proposal that needs further investigation, or try to push ahead with a plan without having sorted out all the details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The inspection takes place on <strong>3\u00b059\u2032 Cancer and Aries<\/strong>, and therefore has a greater impact on those with significant points around <strong>1st\u20137th degrees of the impulsive signs: Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn<\/strong>. It doesn\u2019t mean \u00abdo nothing\u00bb. It means: <strong>Before you act, check whether what you believe is actually true.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Mercury in Leo: I speak with confidence<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the same day, Mercury is in <strong>Leo<\/strong>. Here, speech becomes more creative, expressive and assertive. We want to be heard, to present our ideas and to speak with greater self-confidence. Mercury in Leo can be a great help with presentations, negotiations, creative projects and discussions where we need to defend our position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And on 17 August, it forms an excellent aspect with a planet that can offer it exactly what the day requires: <strong>realism.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Saturn in Aries: The new needs structure<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Saturn in the <strong>Aries<\/strong> It teaches us that it is not enough to have the courage to set out. We must also be able to endure the journey. Aries craves speed, whilst Saturn demands time, consistency, responsibility and strategy. This position therefore calls on us to turn our initiative into something that can truly stand the test of time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">17 August \u2014 Mercury trine Saturn at 14\u00b020\u2032 Leo\u2013Aries<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Concept: Amidst the confusion, there is a very logical solution.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Mercury\u2013Saturn trine is the counterbalance of the day. It helps us to organise our thoughts, examine the facts, have serious discussions and make decisions that can stand the test of time. It is a particularly useful aspect for professional discussions, agreements, planning, studies, administrative matters and decisions that require maturity. The aspect takes place at approximately <strong>14\u00b0 Leo and Aries<\/strong> and favours those whose key points are located approximately at <strong>11\u00b0\u201317\u00b0 of the Fire signs \u2014 Aries, Leo and Sagittarius \u2014 as well as the Air signs, through the supportive aspects formed.<\/strong> The message is simple: if something seems too good to be true, don\u2019t dismiss it \u2014 <strong>check it<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Venus in Libra: Relationships, agreements and balance<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the same time, Venus is in the <strong>Libra<\/strong>, a position in which she can express her qualities very naturally. And on 17 August, it meets Jupiter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Jupiter in Leo: I want to nurture what I believe is worthwhile<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Zeus in the <strong>Leo<\/strong> It heightens the need for creativity, self-expression, optimism and recognition. It can make us more generous and willing to believe in a grand vision.
