The Card Eagle offers great power and dynamism in one's life, as the axis of opposition adds intensity and motivation to an initially favourable formation. In contrast to the Grand Trine, the Paper Eagle provides the impetus for action, growth and utilization of potential, as the tensions of the opposition can provide direction and purpose.

This formation brings opportunities and possibilities, but requires the individual to be proactive, to make decisions and to take action. The Paper Eagle is particularly useful in balancing the tendencies of the Grand Triangle, which can lead to inaction.
4. Secret Triangle (Yod)
Yod, also known as the Finger of God, is a formation formed when two planets are in a 60 degree aspect (hexagon) to each other and a third planet forms 150 degree aspects (cross aspects) to the other two. This formation creates an isosceles triangle with the third planet at the apex.
Significance:
Yod is considered a mystical and karmic formation, often bringing unexplained or difficult situations in one's life. The planet at the top of Yod becomes the sign of "judgment" and transformation, and the formation as a whole brings life lessons and calls for change.
